DREAM TEAM!!!

Let’s talk about Pinterest.

As Washington wedding photographers and videographers, we LOVE when our couples bring us a Pinterest board. It can be incredibly helpful for understanding what you’re drawn to—the lighting, the composition, the emotion, the details, and the overall feeling you want your wedding photos to have.

But there’s something we want every bride and groom to know before they start filling that board with champagne pops, wild dance moves, belly laughs, running through fields, group hugs, and all those beautifully chaotic, high-energy wedding photos:

The photographer isn’t creating all of that energy. The people in the photos are.

Yep. We said it.

If your Pinterest board is filled with photographs where everyone looks like they’re having the absolute time of their lives, then you have to be willing to bring that same energy to your wedding day.

And trust us—we are here for it.

Want the champagne pop? POP THE CHAMPAGNE.

Want the giant group photo where everyone is laughing hysterically?

Get your people together and actually laugh.

Want the photos of you and your new husband running through a field, spinning around, dancing in the street, or celebrating with your friends?

Do it.

Don’t worry about whether you look perfectly composed. Don’t worry about your dress getting a little dirty. Don’t worry about whether everyone is looking at the camera.

Live the moment.

Because those photographs that make you stop scrolling on Pinterest usually aren’t beautiful because everyone is perfectly posed. They’re beautiful because something is happening.

There is movement. There is connection. There is laughter. There is emotion. There is personality.

And that’s where we come in.

As your Washington wedding photographer, our job isn’t simply to stand there and take pictures. We’ll guide you, give you prompts, create movement, look for incredible light, and help set the stage for those moments to happen naturally.

We might tell you to grab your friends and dance.

We might have you run toward each other.

We might ask you to whisper something ridiculous in your partner’s ear.

We might pull your wedding party together for a champagne celebration.

But we can’t manufacture genuine excitement.

And honestly? We don’t want to.

The photographs we love most are the ones where you’re completely caught up in your wedding day.

Your wedding photos should feel like YOU

Whether you’re planning a Seattle wedding, an intimate Leavenworth wedding, a Lake Chelan wedding, a mountain elopement near Mt. Rainier, or an adventurous celebration somewhere else in Washington, the same thing applies:

The best photos happen when you stop worrying about being photographed and start experiencing your wedding.

That’s why our approach to Washington wedding photography combines intentional direction with candid storytelling. We’ll help you when you need it, but we’ll also step back and let the real moments unfold.

We want the photos to show how your best friend looked at you across the room.

The way your friends completely lost it on the dance floor.

The giant hug from your mom.

The champagne spraying everywhere.

The tears you didn’t expect.

The ridiculous dance moves.

The quiet five minutes you stole together in the middle of the reception.

The stuff you can’t plan.

Those are the photographs that become your memories.

And whether we’re there as your Washington wedding photographer, Washington wedding videographer, or both, our goal is the same: to create imagery that feels emotional, energetic, artful, and unmistakably yours.

So the next time you’re scrolling Pinterest and saving that photo where everyone is laughing, dancing, champagne is flying, and nobody looks like they care about the camera, don’t just ask yourself:

“How do I get photos like this?”

Ask yourself:

“Am I willing to bring this kind of energy to my wedding day?”

If the answer is yes…

We’ll take it from there.

Bring the champagne. Bring your people. Bring the laughter. Bring your weird dance moves.

We’ll bring the cameras.
