Nice to Meet You!
We’re Marissa & JR, a husband-and-wife wedding photography and videography team based in Washington. We’re completely crazy about each other, obsessed with creating beautiful imagery, head over heels for our dogs, and have a serious love affair with coffee. Getting to build a life and a business together doing something we genuinely love? We still feel pretty lucky.

Over the years, we’ve photographed hundreds of weddings across Washington and beyond—from intimate Airbnb weddings in Cle Elum and celebrations along Lake Chelan to adventurous Mt. Rainier elopements, Seattle ballroom weddings, and destination celebrations in Maui, St. Lucia, Florida, and beyond.

Our approach is a blend of artful direction and honest storytelling. Marissa has a knack for helping couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, gently guiding you when needed so your images feel natural rather than overly posed. From there, we look for the in-between moments—the laughter, the tears, the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching—and combine them with dramatic light and an editorial eye to create images that feel like art, but still feel like you.

We’ll help you when you need direction, blend into the background when you don’t, and make sure you actually enjoy the experience along the way. Expect plenty of laughter, probably a few happy tears, and maybe even some hugs by the end.
